Have you previously received gifts or inheritances from this person? *
CAT thresholds are lifetime limits. Prior receipts since 5 December 1991 count against the same group threshold.
Did the person have a Section 72 life insurance policy for inheritance tax? *
Section 72 policy proceeds are tax-free when used to pay CAT on the estate.
